Spinach: cultivation and care

Thespinachneed a light soil. If your garden has a clayey substrate, you will need to carry out some preliminary work.

For spring spinach, you'll need to take care of it yourself, especially when temperatures rise above 20 ° C. Remember that the availability of water greatly affects the growth of the plant!

In the garden, spinach does not need any detailsfertilizations. Continue with fertilization (pre-sowing) only if the soil in your garden is very poor. Always at the time of deep digging, bury some mature manure.

If you've fertilized with manure, you can embrace classic peasant crop rotations after spinach cultivation. On the plot of land where you have grown spinach, you can then host courgettes, pumpkins, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and aubergines.
